Trump is going to need a lot of white voters because he's getting less than 1 percent of the black vote nationally. Donald Trump's support among black voters is lower than a white supremacist, David Duke now running for the U.S. Senate. Stump for Trump home girls, Diamond and Silk are Trump's only supporters in the entire State of North Carolina!
The latest NBC/Wall Street Journal poll shows Trump with 1 percent support among black voters nationally, which has been typical throughout the Republican presidential nominee's campaign.
David Duke, a former Ku Klux Klan grand wizard running for an open Senate seat in Louisiana, polled 14 percent support among black voters in the state, according to a survey by the University of New Orleans's Survey Research Center.
But, as The Washington Post notes, there are caveats to the Louisiana survey.
The poll only asked respondents whether they would vote for Duke but didn't ask about any of the other candidates.
Duke has been an outspoken Trump supporter.
Duke, who announced last month he would run for Louisiana's open Senate seat, said he is 100 percent behind Trump's legislative agenda.
